Over 10 hours after departure from Lisboa, arrival at the Reagan National Airport in Washington, DC.
John Zins, ELO from the International Visitor Leadership Program, was waiting to take me to Hotel Madera.
The weath was hot and moisty, with some showers.
After a bath and dropping the bags, we went to friends reception. Interesting people in a nice and informal conversation. Wine served was Malbec, from Argentina. Light and fruity, adequate for a summer dinner table.
One of John's friends, John Loggins Jr., was natural from Hawai, but with family portuguese roots. He had been visiting Portugal for over a month in June. Nice conversation about Portugal and history, food, music and beauties.
